Pepsi vs. CocaCola

Pepsi
Pepsi has made a name for themselves through the use of several celebrity spokesmen. Some of their credits include Britney Spears, Ray Charles, Kanye West, U2, Cuba Gooding Jr., and Michael Jackson. Many people would probably criticize Pepsi's relationship with Micheal Jackson because he's a total 'whack-job,' but you have to feel kind of bad for him considering all of his Jerry-curled hair was burn to a crisp during the commercial shooting. But more importantly...he made Thriller.
CocaCola
CocaCola is commonly credited with the "invention" of the modern image of Santa Clause. It's actually kind of weird to think that back in the day, the same soda we've all grown up with used to be made with cocaine. Parent's from way back whould laugh at the modern day sugar rush of a child. This is becuase when their kids said the wanted "coke," they meant it with a smile on their faces, if you know what i mean.
Conclusion
I took the Pepsi Challenge in 6th grade at Six Flags and I passed with flying colors. I love Pepsi. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against CocaCola. It's just like they market it, a classic. But when I order my soda at a restaurant, you better believe I'm going to ask them what they have on tap. Though, if I don't feel like drinking a beer, you bet your sweet ass that I'm requesting a Pepsi. If I get Coke or "whatever you have," don't worry I won't complain. But when it comes to choice, I always go with "the choice of a new generation."

My first choice is Mountain Dew, which is a Pepsi product...but MD is the only Pepsi product I enjoy, everything else is Coke.
This is another easy one. I am strictly a coke girl. The story behind this is a bit interesting. As a kid the only thing in my house was Pepsi so I grew up drinking strictly Pepsi. I thought I loved it and I thought I was my favorite soda ever. Until one day I was out with my friends at a restaurant and I asked for Pepsi and the waitress gave me the bad news that they only served coke. Under normal circumstances I would reject that offer and ask for water. But I was about thirteen and under the peer pressure of my friends decided to go against my roots and try coke. From that moment on I never drank Pepsi again. I think it stemmed a lot from the rebelliousness of being a teenager but I love coke and I won’t give it up for anything. If I am at a restaurant and coke is not available, water is my next option Pepsi I no longer an option for this girl!
I’m not a huge soda drinker, but if I’m forced, I almost always pull for Coke. I think it was more that I was sort of brought up on CocaCola products versus Pepsi. Nothing against the companies themselves, it’s just that there was always Coke in the fridge instead of Pepsi. I’m actually a bigger fan of CocaCola advertising than Pepsi. To me Coke ads are just more traditional and “heartwarming”, if you will. I think of the catchy tunes, “CocaCola classis is always the one, where ever there is fun there’s always CocaCola,” and their great holiday commercials. Whereas Pepsi did launch the very successful Pepsi challenge campaign years ago, although it was very effective, it was more competitive and directly targeting Coke. I have to admit I’ve never ordered a Captain and Pepsi, it’s Captain and Coke all the way.
